Shell wanted to shake up their recruitment process. Although they were a desirable employer across many job roles, their fantastic employer branding wasn’t shining through. They asked us to help them create a candidate experience that reflected their core vision and values.

The solution

Working closely with the client, we implemented a truly bespoke solution – a smartphone-friendly, end-to-end candidate assessment process. This best-in-class candidate experience humanises the brand and engages candidates throughout the application process.

The results
  • Recruitment processing times were reduced from up to 240 to 20 days  
  • Application form completion time was reduced from 35 minutes to five minutes  
  • Predictive text/drop-down menus reduced the completion time by 20%  
  • The video had more than 20k views
  • One candidate said: “I had insight of what Shell is, the values, culture, and how vibrant workers are.”
